How to shoot products on a phone: a checklist for light and angles

Window light, three angles and a clean background. That is all it takes for an AI model to build a catalogue shoot instead of guessing your product.

The better the input shot, the less the model has to guess. This is not about an expensive camera. It is about a readable shape, colour and label.

Light

Stand by a window and switch off mixed ceiling lamps. Avoid harsh midday sun — early morning or an overcast day is better.

Angles

  1. Front, product centred in the frame.
  2. An angled shot, so the depth is visible.
  3. Back or bottom, if that is where the code or the ingredients are.
  4. A detail: texture, logo, closure.

What not to do

Do not crop the product. Do not shoot under yellow bulb light. Do not mix three backgrounds inside one SKU pack.

Drop those shots into the app — Reklamuj generates the rest: background, shadow, retouching.
