Seedream 5.0 Pro frames what the rest cannot hold
The only model on the roster that will genuinely build a 16:1 frame, and one of the few you give an exact pixel size to instead of picking a ratio off a list. Ten reference photos on top of that, so the product stays yours.

What it is good for
- Exact to the pixel
- Ask for 1200 × 628 and that is what you get, with no scaling and no guessing. That is rare: most models take a ratio from a closed list and only approximate.
- Frames up to 16:1
- The widest on the roster. A banner above a page header or a strip in a newsletter is composed here rather than cut out of a square photo — the product and the text each get room.
- Ten reference photos
- Enough to show the product from every side and get a series where it is still the same object, not ten variants of it.
When to pick something else
It has an area floor: it will not go below a million pixels, roughly 1024 × 1024. Small formats — the classic 728 × 90 strip — are therefore rendered larger and the file scaled down to your size. The result is good, but it is one step more than models without that limit. If all you want is a square photo, Seedream 4 is quicker.

The things this engine handles differently from the rest. The habits that hold for every model are collected separately, in the help centre.
- Give the size in pixels rather than as a ratio. That is the reason to pick this engine: the frame is composed for your format, not for the nearest one on a list.
- Below 1024 × 1024, remember the model has a floor on area — the graphic is rendered larger and the file is scaled down afterwards. Check that small type did not soften on the way.
- Go up to 16:1 for very wide strips. No other model on the list holds a frame that shape, so do not crop a wide banner out of a square.
- Upload up to ten photographs of one item when you are building a set. Do not describe colour variants in words — show them as references.
- For a plain square, use Seedream 4. This version takes longer and at 1:1 there is nothing for it to make up for that.
