Krea 2 Turbo a frame with character, in eight seconds

A model that is not afraid of a dark frame. Where studio models lift everything to an even grey, this one leaves the light where you put it and lets shadow do the rest — and it does that in eight seconds.

What it is good for

Strong light and deep shadow
One direction of light, a fast fall-off to black, a warm rim highlight. For candles, spirits, fragrance and anything that sells on mood rather than a spec sheet.
Eight seconds
The second fastest image model here. That matters when you are chasing a mood, because a mood is chosen by comparing versions, not by planning one.
Pixel sizes
From 512 to 2048 px a side. A format for a post or a product card arrives without being scaled back up.

When to pick something else

It is a model with a strong character, and character is sometimes out of place. On a listing's first photo a dark frame works against you — a thumbnail has to read at a few dozen pixels, not set a mood. Use Seedream 4 there. It also takes no reference photos and does not hold very wide frames: we cap it at 4:1, because it publishes no size limits of its own and we do not guess.

How to brief this model

The things this engine handles differently from the rest. The habits that hold for every model are collected separately, in the help centre.

  1. Name the light source. "The candle flame is the only light", "a lamp from the side, the rest in shadow" — this model leads the frame with light and everything else follows from it.
  2. Let the shadow take part of the frame. A brief that asks for even illumination switches off precisely what you came here for.
  3. Stay at 4:1 or narrower. We do not order wider, because it publishes no size bounds of its own and we do not guess them.
  4. Do not use it for the first photograph in a listing. A dark thumbnail loses to a clean backdrop from Seedream 4 in a results list, however good it is.
  5. For a product that has to be exactly yours, use another engine — this one takes no reference photographs.
