FLUX1.1 Pro Ultra holds the texture of a material

The model for a photo that should not look generated. The weave of wool, the grain of oak, matte ceramic, wear on leather — where other models smooth a surface into plastic, this one leaves it as it is.

A wool blanket on an oak bench. Every loop of the weave throws its own shadow — that is this model in one frame.

What it is good for

Texture, not polish
The best on the roster for materials a buyer wants to judge by eye before paying: textiles, wood, ceramic, leather. That is usually the difference between "nice photo" and "I can see what it is made of".
Light that obeys physics
Shadows take their direction and softness from the source you described, and reflections do not appear where there is nothing to reflect. That is exactly where a generated photo usually gives itself away.
Twenty seconds
Twice as fast as Nano Banana Pro at comparable photographic quality. Across a series of a dozen frames that is a noticeable difference to an evening of work.

When to pick something else

It takes no reference photos at all — not one. It will render a beautiful wool blanket, but not your wool blanket. If the photo has to show a specific item from your stock, you need Nano Banana Pro, Seedream 5.0 Pro or Bria Product Shot. Do not count on text in the image either: leave headlines to Ideogram V3 or Nano Banana 2.

How to brief this model

The things this engine handles differently from the rest. The habits that hold for every model are collected separately, in the help centre.

  1. Describe the material, not the object. This engine will show you a heavy wool knit and brushed brass; "a nice blanket" it will flatten.
  2. Name the light by direction. "Hard sun from the left", "window light behind the product" — that is what decides whether the texture casts its own shadow, which is the whole difference here.
  3. Do not expect your own item. The model takes no reference photographs at all, so you get a beautiful blanket, not the one in your warehouse.
  4. Leave the headline to another model. There is no text-in-image here: render the frame with this engine and set the type in Ideogram V3 or Nano Banana 2.
  5. Keep labels and printed tags out of the brief. It holds blank packaging well, but asked for a label it will invent what the label says.
